Once again the residents of the Adelaide Hills have been ignored by Labor.
Yesterday’s announcement of the final Development Plan Amendment (DPA) for Mount Barker and Nairne totally ignored community wishes.
The final DPA is scant on detail and differs little to the draft amendment which received an overwhelming chorus of disapproval from the community.

Both the Federal and State Labor Health Minister’s need to clarify today if they stand by their health election commitments in Mount Barker after revelations in The Courier newspaper that they appear to be stepping away from a number of pledges.
In April this year, State Health Minister John Hill pledged $3.5 million to upgrade the maternity unit at Mount Barker hospital. Now after eight months of silence, and no detail forthcoming, he says no figure has been set.

As the State Labor Government continues to defend spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on an Italian festival in Puglia, a multi-campus school in the Fleurieu is having previously guaranteed funding slashed from its budget.
