The Australian of the Year Awards acknowledge the great achievements of individuals in our community. There are so many fantastic Australians out there doing extraordinary things, which warrant recognition.
All nominations are considered and one nomination is all it takes for their efforts to be recognised for the Australian of the Year Award.
Awards are presented in the following categories, the Australian of the Year, Australia’s Local Hero Award, Young Australian of the Year Award and the Senior Australian of the Year Award.
