The Goolwa RSL Sub-branch has been granted $50,000.00 under the Veteran and Community Grants program to undertake a project in Mayo.
The grant will allow the sub-branch to construct new male, female and disabled toilets for the health and well-being of the veteran community in Goolwa.
The sub-branch, ably headed by Robert Plummer is a grateful recipient of such a grant and I congratulate them on their success.
It was my pleasure to provide such a great community organisation with a letter of support to compliment their application.
The Veteran and Community Grants program supports a range of community activities that promote healthy lifestyles for veterans, assists veterans in living independently at home and supports carers.
