It was great to attend the Apple and Pear Festival community event in Lenswood on Sunday 27 March 2011. Up until about 1998, the Lenswood community held an annual Apple and Pear festival. Given the pressure that the apple and pear industry is under at the moment, the organising committee decided to revive aspects of the festival.
